Eight Things About Myself

So. Matt tagged me for a meme in the comments section of a earlier post. I took a look at what it was all about and found the concept intriguing enough to start a draft post. I’ll only be doing half of a meme tho. Would that be a ‘me’?
Rules

“Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.�

I’ll be listing eight facts/habits about myself but I wont be tagging anyone asking them to read my blog.  See #8 why.

At the precious age of nine, I ran across the street without looking both ways. Unfortunately for me, I got run down by a car. Unfortunately for everyone in this world, I survived.

I enrolled in college with the intention to become a psychologist. Fortunately for me, I realized I was a better programmer than a psychologist. Fortunately for everyone in this world, I am a programmer rather than a psychologist.

Once I latch upon a theme in a conversation or a conversation piece, I will proceed to mercilessly beat that horse well beyond ‘dead’ and more like ‘nothing but a bloody pulp’. Fortunately for me, it’s hilarious. Unfortunately for everyone in this world, it’s not as funny as I think it should be.

Unfortunately, ‘Fortunately’ is not one of my favorite words.

My first crush was this boy in seventh grade P.E. class.  He had an tattoo, which I thought was awesome.

On principle, I never mass-forward emails, or participate “send this to everyone you know” internet hoo-haa.  This is no exception, and so this particular meme thread will end right here at this blog.
