Running Log
Another late night run. Tried to keep a faster pace because it was shorter. I had the opposite problem tonight. I planned to run 5-6 miles, and ended up running some extra.
Today’s route: 6.6 miles, 54 min. 48 sec.
Running Log
I really wanted to make it a 14-miler today. But like the 12-miler before, I came up a few tenths of a mile short. Its mainly because I dont really go out with a plan, I just run by gut and guess a route based on past experiences. But it’s close enough to 14 miles for me.
Today’s route: 13.6 miles, 2 hrs. 3 min.
Running Log
Hooo boy. What a muggy morning to run. Felt kind of sluggish as well.
Today’s Route: 4.6 miles, 38 minutes
Running Log

Running Log (Was Good Morning Mr. Awakening)
I ran out to the very tip of Hains Point to say ‘good morning, fella’ to Mr. Awakening. Then I ran back home.
Today’s route: 11.8 miles, 1hr 46min.
Seagull - First Exposures
A while ago, I had been kicking around the idea of buying a Rolleiflex. My buddy Hui told me to save the $600 I was going to spend on Rollei and try out his Seagull first. The Seagull is a Chinese manufactured knockoff of the Rollei. Same fundamental concepts, and supposedly much cheaper. It uses 120 film, which produces perfectly square exposures, a different kind of composition approach than the typical 2:3 ratio of a 35mm exposure.
I bought two rolls of Ilford B&W and started reading up online about how to estimate exposure values, since the Seagull was lacking any type of exposure metering or whatever.
It was a odd feeling shooting film, having to manually set all exposures, compose the frame, take the shot, then wind the film. And that was it. No snazzy little LCD exposure to tell you whether you got the picture. It would all have to wait till the film was actually developed.
I’ve posted all the pictures up on my facebook album.

Wonderful morning for a run.
Today’s route: 7 miles, 59 min 46 sec.

Got out of the house at 7:30 a.m. and it was just fucking hot.
Today’s route: 5.2 miles, 46 min 51 sec.
Dear God.. what have I gotten myself into…
Staring at those two checks in my wallet, I feel apphrensive and giddy at the same time. Today I didn’t just sign a contract, but rather, TWO contracts to shoot two weddings. One will be in October, and the other will be in March 2008.
This is the real thing. Not shooting second with a wonderful woman who I enjoy working with. Nope. This time I’ll be flying solo. Calling the shots. It’ll be all Tim, all the time.
This is going to be very interesting…
