My Awesome Cottage

I was puttering around the front lawn of my cottage when I noticed the setting sun was making my cottage look all warm and pretty.  I ran inside to grab my camera.

I get all creeped out by my mailbox.  I swear, it looks like a face with little stubby teeth saying “gitchmee, i’m yer mailbox and im gumma eat ya!”  I give it a little wary look every time I walk out the door.

I have those lovely vines growing up all around the cottage.

Even in direct sunlight, most of the cottage is shaded by trees and bushes.  I guess that’ll be a good thing during the hot desert summers… which I’m actually thinking about staying through for.

I actually never noticed I had wind chimes outside my back door until today.

The walkway from my back door to the back yard.  Its so earthy and just adorable.

Having all those random seeds and pine cones twisted up in the vines.   All those little touches.

Lots of driftwood propped around as well.


I heart my cottage!

    that driftwood in front of cement blocks is GORGEOUS!! methinks i want to order some pics from your site. so get your credit card swiper out and ready. :)

    Love it!! :-) Someday I’m going to learn how to make driftwood sculpture. It’s something I been wanting to learn.
