Thoughts of Bishop

Well, it didn’t take very long, did it.

Yesterday I was on the phone with Northern Inyo Hospital clearing up some billing questions regarding my ER visit, and after I hung up, I started thinking about Bishop.

I miss that place.  I really do.  I started playing with dates on my calendar.  Most of my major commitments clear up after October, and then its a blank slate after November.   I started to kick around the idea of maybe returning to Bishop in November and staying through the winter, then return to San Francisco in the spring.

We shall see. :)

sound like you missed bishop more than s.f. as in landscape itself due climbing?

i bet there are a lot interested people to meet in s.f. around than bishop. out of curious, are there enough deaf people around for you to meet in bishop?

The human spirit has never intended to stay in one place. Take advantage of your itch, get out of the city so you can come back to enjoy it all over again :).

P.s. lets get together again before the end of the month. “blue fin sushi” next to where we ate last time was STUNNING for a very fair price. I’ve never had a proper raw fish that melted like butter than this one.

    Yo, knew it.

That climbing boot healed and ready to go, I presume.

Was in Bishop in June. :)

cuong: i did not meet any deaf people in bishop. the social aspect is the one downside of living there.

chris: i’m heading out to provincetown for a week vacation starting on friday. but i’ll ping ya when i get back!

ann: u were in bishop? awesome. how was that? it must’ve been scorching hot!

Actually I stopped in Bishop only briefly, for lunch and to pick up camp supplies before going some 20 miles north of there. Was cooler there in June then where I live, heh.

No, not much of a deaf community in Bishop, you’re right about that.
