Bay Bridge Photo Extravaganza

Gabe, Brian and I hosted a photo extravaganza in a rented studio on Pier 26 which sat in the shadow of the Bay Bridge.  About 21 people showed up with suitcases of clothing and lots of imagination.  Here are some of my photos from that night.

You can see the rest of the photos, including lots more by the other excellent photographers in attendance that night here!

The Life in The City

After a whole lot of traveling here and there, I’m enjoying the chance to kick back and enjoy the many things that The City has to offer.

I’ve been playing a lot of pool lately.  I’m quickly settling down on my favorite places to hang out, where the attitude is just right, the beer prices are good and a few good friends to shoot the bullshit with.

Lot of photos to come up soon.  I’m catching up on the ones I took at one of those protests over Prop. 8, and another one from the Photo Extravaganza that Gabe and I hosted on Saturday.  It was a blast, and I wanted to thank everyone who came by and made it the success it was!

Liz & Scott Get Married

The REAL reason I was in DC a few weeks ago was to shoot a wedding over in (now-all-Democratic) Virginia. The lovely couple, Liz and Scott – I’d never met beforehand.

They found me via a friend’s referral and booked me for their wedding.  I had an absolutely fantastic time there and wanted to say thanks to Liz and Scott for hiring me, and to Hui for being my second shooter that day!

I sent off the wedding pics to the bride and groom earlier this week and they replied back saying that they absolutely loved the photos!  Here are a bunch of my favorites…
