Liz & Scott Get Married

The REAL reason I was in DC a few weeks ago was to shoot a wedding over in (now-all-Democratic) Virginia. The lovely couple, Liz and Scott - I’d never met beforehand.

They found me via a friend’s referral and booked me for their wedding.  I had an absolutely fantastic time there and wanted to say thanks to Liz and Scott for hiring me, and to Hui for being my second shooter that day!

I sent off the wedding pics to the bride and groom earlier this week and they replied back saying that they absolutely loved the photos!  Here are a bunch of my favorites…

  1. weeee~! um.. smugmug hosted photos are dog slow in china.. everything else are pretty fast.

  2. gorgeous!! do you actually like smugbug? I hate the look for their layout but is the service good?

  3. wow, time changed. i mean in my old time, a lot people rather hire any wedding photographers in same states for cheaper.

today, they wanted to hire photographer out of state. that mean they can’t find good photographer around in va? *scratched my head* unless they are loaded enough to hire the BEST one. you should be proud.

btw, thank for input about canon 5d mark ii body. i was turned on about new carl zeiss lenses mounting on canon. but i learned that carl zeiss is only manual focus for canon. i decided to go for sony a900 body with only pure carl zeiss lenses this end of dec 08 or jan o9.

we should get together to do photography sony (only slr a900 - not one tiny cyber-shot) vs canon (your big gun). i love to compare our notes or art in minnesota. ;-)
